Originally from North Dakota, I am married with two active boys.  I have been an independent insurance agent since 2005 where I have specialized in Life, individual, Medicare products, and small group insurance needs.  I started Crosstown Insurance in 2012 and added home and auto insurance to my product line in 2015.  I currently serve on the association board for the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters (MAHU) and love what I do!

As a life insurance agent I develop and implement comprehensive plans for clients who span the spectrum, from entrepreneurs, small business owners, and executives to young families with small children, single professionals, empty-nest parents and retired adults.  I work with my clients to create a plan that meets their needs, from complex planning to simple and straight forward planning. Specifically, I have expertise in the following:

*Integrating insurance and estate planning

*Utilizing specific tools to reduce taxes and liabilities for families and businesses

*Transitioning business and family wealth, including residency planning, foreign insurance use and the creation of trusts

*Ensuring that if you pass away or become disabled, your family is provided for and will have the confidence that their financial future is secure

When I am not working I like to spend time with my wife and daughter, travel, be on the water and watch Sprint Car Races.  I am on the board of the Minnesota Association of Health Underwriters and Twin Cities Muskie’s Inc.

Gretchen Sanna

For over ten years I have been helping individuals and families navigate their health insurance options. I received my Medicare plan training at Medica’s Center for Heatlhy Aging headquarted in Minnetonka, MN. During my time there I also began to offer private health plans to individuals and families, eventually becoming certified as a MNsure Assister.  At Crosstown Insurance, I continue to educate and inform clients about these types of health insurance plans as an independent insurance agent appointed with multiple insurance companies.  

When I was growing up in west central Minnesota, my dad, who was also in the insurance business, would take me with him to visit clients in the evenings. I sat in on many hours of listening to him explain financial products and usually at some point I’d be asked to play something on the family piano—most living rooms had one at the time. Looking back, I’m grateful that my parents found ways to keep me involved with their day-to-day activities. Presently, I reside in the southwest metro with my husband and daughter finding creative ways to spend time together as a family.

Krista Wurzberger

As a teen, trying to decide what I wanted to do after high school, I recall talking with my mom about what I didn’t want to do. I only knew that I wanted to work with people and that is what I did! Having spent 20 years in direct patient care, it was time to move on. However, I continued to have a desire to interact with and help others.

During my time of transition, I found myself wondering what I wanted to do next. Leaving my job, I was now without health insurance for not only myself but my family. I came across Crosstown in pursuing my options for health insurance and I am glad I did! Even after 20 years in health care, I knew very little about health insurance. There is so much I know now that I wish I would have known then having joined the Crosstown team. I have completed my insurance training, received my license, and continue ongoing training. My goal is to serve as your insurance expert helping you navigate through the process of selecting a health insurance plan that meets your and/or your family’s needs.

When I am not in the office, I am on the run chauffeuring one of my two very active boys to an activity while my husband is running with the other one. I am the mom of a Type1 diabetic warrior, a teen (enough said), and wife of 18 years. When I do have a spare moment, I enjoy reading, dining out, spending time with friends, traveling, and some all-around good “mom time” with other moms.

I am an Individual Health insurance broker in Minnesota specializing in Medicare plans, Medicare Prescription Drugs Plans, Medicare Supplements, Individual Health, Dental, Vision and Small Group Insurance. My goal is to provide clients with the insurance they want at the lowest possible price, while providing the highest level of customer service. I spend a vast majority of my time helping individuals, families and businesses review options and select the best health plans for their needs. I find great satisfaction in helping clients both before and after they enroll in a policy.

I am a lifelong Minnesotan who grew up in Bloomington, graduated from the University of St. Cloud State, and now living in Edina with my wife, and two sons. I enjoy fishing, swimming, soccer, softball, broomball, and spending time with my family.

Jim Oelhafen

In my role as sales manager, I get to assist with your personal health insurance and Medicare needs and support the team as we work to provide positive client experiences in all that we do.

Another area of focus for me is to build mutually beneficial partnerships with industry professionals that would find Crosstown Insurances’ expertise resourceful for their clientele.

My work history includes counseling youthful offenders, service sales, account management, firefighting and EMS.  All of these roles had a common theme – and that is, I enjoy helping others.

On a personal note, I was born in Milwaukee and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin.  I have lived in Minnesota since 1999.  Don’t worry – you won’t catch me arguing about any professional sports teams.

In my free time I have two adult children and an energetic black lab/huskie mix that keep me busy.   I enjoy cooking family style meals, spending time outdoors, making frequent trips to the dog park, and viewing life through my camera’s lens.

I am the oldest of four and I grew up In Watertown Minnesota. My journey into the insurance industry is driven by a strong desire to educate clients and help them navigate their insurance needs with confidence. I am passionate about building meaningful relationships and am committed to providing personalized service to ensure each client feels secure and informed. With a background in marketing, I bring a strategic approach to understanding client needs and delivering tailored insurance solutions. Amy Martinez

My passion for helping individuals understand the complexity of insurance began when I started my career as a Medicare and Medicaid plan specialist at Medica. Over the last ten years, I have been involved with many aspects of the insurance journey. My specialty of supervising and leading call center teams, training Medicare and Medicaid to over 1,000 people, and Sales training and program management for Medicare, Medicaid, Individual, and Commercial sales has been a strength of mine that has really supported my growth in the industry. My overriding goal is always to advocate for efficient, effective, and empathetic customer service for all members.

I love hanging out with my two dogs and horse in my spare time. You will often find me at the dog park, going on hikes with my dogs, or training my horse. Spending time outdoors, listening to podcasts, and reading are some of my favorite pastimes that help me stay healthy and happy.

As a former teacher and present parent, I have always approached life with a help others attitude. At Crosstown Insurance, I assist with non-agent tasks, enabling the company to maintain its focus on serving clients and addressing all their client’s insurance needs to the best of their ability.

I am a proud wife and a mom to three incredible adult children! I also have two furry cat children, Tina and Hazel, who mean the world to me!

Jacob Bochler

In my role as Database and Operations Manager at Crosstown Insurance, I’m fortunate to work behind the scenes to help ensure our data systems, workflows, and processes run smoothly. I support our team by streamlining operations, improving administrative efficiency, and keeping our client records accurate — all with the goal of contributing to a positive client experience.

Another area I focus on is enhancing our use of technology to make sure everything works as it should and is easier for both our team and the people we serve. Whether it’s automating workflows, improving reporting, or refining how we manage data, I enjoy finding ways to help Crosstown work smarter.

My work history includes experience in operations, development, client engagement, and data management. What ties it all together is a passion for using analytics and technology to solve problems and support others.

On a personal note, I’ve been fortunate to gain international experience, including earning my Master’s in International Business from Sophia University in Tokyo. I also hold a double B.B.A. in Management Information Systems and Healthcare Management. I enjoy exploring new technologies, working with data, and creating efficient systems — but outside of work, I appreciate slowing down to spend time exploring new places, playing games, watching movies, and hanging out with friends. These moments help me recharge and stay inspired.

With one year in the insurance industry, Abby has focused on leadership, training, and employee development. She also served as an Insurance Sales Manager, gaining experience driving performance and supporting team success.

Mary Vang

I’m Mary Vang, a Marketing and Sales Specialist at Crosstown Insurance, with a focus on Medicare. I was born in California and have called Minnesota home since 1994.

My background includes everything from retail and carpentry to healthcare and social services, and I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. I truly enjoy connecting with people and helping others.

Outside of work, you’ll find me cooking, relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, and doing plenty of laughing! I’m also the only lefty out of nine kids. Above all, my faith and family—my husband and two sons—are at the heart of who I am.
